Counter Strike Global Offensive

Counter Strike Global Offencive commonly refered as Csgo, is a first person shooter in which you are either the terrorists who try to plant the bomb or you are the counter- terrorists who basically try to stop the terrorists.

Csgo has many game modes which include: deathmatch, casual, competitive, a hostage game mode, arms race, and demolition.

Deathmatch

Deathmatch is a gamemode where there are two teams, terrorists and counter- terrorists, and you try to get the most points which can be earned by either killing other players or killing chickens. You can also take advantage of the bonus timers which with a certain gun you get more points.

Competitive

Competitive is a gamemode in csgo where you take a step up and have a more competitive feel to the game. Competitive is a 5v5 gamemode where the objective is to either plant the bomb as terrorists or stop the terrorists as the counter- terrorists. there are 30 rounds and after round 15 you switch sides so if you were terrorists you are now counter- terrorists and vice versa. To win you must win majority of the 30 rounds which is 16, but there also can be ties where each side gets 15 rounds.

Casual

Casual is a gamemode in which you don't want to play very competitive. Casual is a step down where you can casually play the game. To win this game mode you must win 8 rounds. This gamemode is normally recommended for the newer players to sharpen their skills before they get into competitive.

Arms Race

This is a gamemode where you have to get kills which allows you to advance your weapon, to win this gamemode you have to get a kill with the final weapon, the golden knife, also you have a knife the whole time but the golden one is the final weapon, if you get killed by a non- golden knife it will demote you and bring you down one weapon.

Demolition

Demolition is a lot like putting arms race and competitive into one gamemode. Demolition is a 5v5 in which you have to eliminate the other team, but there is also a weapon advancement system in this gamemode too. If you get a kill in the round that you are in you will advance your weapon the next round, to win, win 8 rounds.

Hostage

Hostage gamemode is one in which the terrorists have 3 hostages and the counter- terrorists job is to save the hostages or eliminate the enemy team. The terrorist job is to make sure the counter- terrorists don’t take the hostages. There is both a casual and competitive versions of this game mode which follow the same rules to win.

Overall Counter Strike Global Offensive is one of my all time favorite games. Even though the community may not be the best or nicest, just push away those toxic players and it is a great game, and i’m not saying that all of the community is toxic.

8/10- although a great game after a while is sometimes becomes bland.
